Goal setting in an organization is where everyone is of one mind-set for a purpose human behavior is the actions of people to reach that goal such as BSA Boys Scouts of America they learn skills & receive badges earn ranks
Every behavior has a reason. We do certain things with an end in mind. Goal states bring behaviors to completion. Humans, animals, and computers are alike in terms of having a goal state that defines their movement. Animals aim for survival and would do what they could to ensure survival. The computer is programmed to accomplish tasks and it is the goal state that tells the computer that its task is complete. People do things to get that desired goal state. By knowing your goals, you know when you are done with a task. Organizations typically operate with some goal or objective in mind. The goal plus parameters determine what specific actions are to be taken. For example, your goal is to win a basketball championship. To accomplish that, you have to identify both the aids and hindrances to the objective. You would, therefore, perform actions that lead you closer to your objective and steer you away from obstacles.
